Happy New Year!
We are ready to start digging our first trees at the farm. We spent an afternoon tagging some of the individual trees with varieties to make it easier to keep them organized after digging. After the cider trees are dug, they will be graded (sized), sorted, bundled, and heeled in. Heeling in involves burying the roots in sawdust to prevent freezing. After that, our trees will be ready for shipping or delivery!
